New semester and a new look. The school’s leaderships always holds a meeting to discuss about teaching qualities before the school starts. With the result of many years teaching experience and the excellence in teaching Chinese language and culture to foreign students, it was decided to change the course style. The Writing classes , Listening classes and Speaking classes which were set up in the Autumn semester, 2007 have now been combined into one class - Listening classes and Speaking classes, now called Ting Shuo Ke. The elective courses have been increased this semester, for example, Yunnan Tourist class, Chinese Music class, Chines chess class, Chinese Majiang and Yunnan minorities’ culture. In addition to improving the students’s listening and speaking abilities, students are also learning Chinese culture which has great advantage. The teaching’s effect is very good. It is loved by the students and students’s studies are progressing a lot.
